Gold Bar School Artist Residency

Last year I spent a week at Gold Bar School working with students to create these seven stories together. Each class built their own characters, ideas, and directions, and I illustrated the final stories based on what we came up with as a group.

We used one simple creative constraint to get things going: every story had to begin with a character brushing their teeth. From there, they took off in completely different and unexpected directions.
