International Talk Like a Pirate Day

I found out it was International 'Talk like a Pirate' Day a few days ago, so I hastily threw together this mediocre pirate cartoon. I actually kind of like how the pirate turned out, but what I should have done instead was simply drawn a tiger with a sign that says 'aaargh'. I guess I'll save that one for next year.

I love the smell of easter in the morning

eGgs. Eggs. egGs. eggS. it's amazing how the word 'eggs' changes so dramatically depending on which letter is capitalized.... but enough about that, it's Easter time!​

a st. patrick's day extravaganza

​it's that special time of year again when friendly leprechauns come out of their various hiding places, and prance around while showering people with shamrocks and drinking beer.

many people don't know this about me, but I once caught a leprechaun - I found him passed out in an ally. I assumed that he would lead me to his pot of gold, but mostly he was just confused and angry about why he was in my house, so I let him go. All in all, it was a pretty magical experience.

I'd like to wish all the people out there a very happy 'year of the snake'. I can't say that snakes are my favourite animals, but as far as the chinese zodiac goes, they're definitely in my top twelve.

it's time for some christmas beef, featuring: snow white with a group of particularly dopy looking dwarfs, santa and a few of his favourite elves, and a heated exchange between santa and a soon-to-be-famous rudolf...
