Tiger and zebras, at the Land of Le Beef by Darren Lebeuf

If you look really closely, you'll notice that I forgot to put whiskers on my tiger - major faux pas. You probably didn't notice or care, in which case there was no need for me to point it out. Something else you may not have noticed or cared about, is that fact that there are two different patterns on the zebras' faces - I tried both, promising myself that I would decided which one looked better and then make them the same, but I got so caught up in the process that their differences made it all the way through to the final stage. I kind of like it better this way. Anyway, I'm just babbling now. I'll stop.

It's a royal flush or something, at the Land of Le Beef (by Darren Lebeuf)

Here is the latest addition to the Land of le Beef line-up of super awesome cartoons. I know what you're thinking, "super awesome is a bit of an understatement". You're absolutely right, but I just spent spent the last three hours searching for a better description for this cartoon, and it turns out that 'super awesome' is the single greatest accolade that exists in the english language. The Russians have a word that slightly exceeds 'super awesome', but unfortunately I can't type it because my keyboard doesn't have a button that looks like an upside-down 'h', or a backwards 3 making love to a question mark. So hence, 'super awesome' will have to do.

send in the clowns

Ronald is smoooooooth with the ladies. The Land of le Beef, by Darren Lebeuf.

Have you ever stared blankly at a wall and thought about what it would be like if Ronald McDonald were hitting on a girl clown at a bar? Neither have I - that would be crazy. I have however drawn a cartoon of it and asked other people to submit their own pick-up lines. If you'd like to get in on the pick-up line action for next time, be sure to become a fan of the Land of le Beef Facebook page. Anyway, enough about that, here are some of the responses I got:

"Hey pretty lady, would you like to end the night with a quarter-pounder?"

"Can I choose my filling for your McFlurry??"

"Mind if I put some meat in your bun?"

"These massive shoes do contain massive feet..but you know what they say..."

"I come - super sized!"

"How many balls can you juggle?"

"With over 99 billion served, who are you to say no?"

"I am much more careful than my friend Burger King. He got Dairy Queen pregnant because he forgot to wrap his whopper."

"whaddya say we run off and join the circus together?"

"How would you like to be my treat of the week?"

"Take your time baby, I'm open 24 hours..."

"I'm going to name a hamburger after you; it's called the McPOW!"

As always, thank you to everyone who submitted - you're all awesome in your special way.

Rocky XIII

Rocky Balboa and the tiger in question - the Land of Le Beef, by Darren Lebeuf

Of all the tigers I have ever drawn (about 5), this is one of my favourites. This cartoon actually has an interesting* back story. You see, one of my faithful Facebook followers wrote me a message telling me that my cartoons had been haunting her dreams, and she had particularly weird dream with two tigers holding signs - something about 'eye of the tiger' and 'got my eye on you'. Her dream didn't actually make much sense, but I managed to pull it out of the garbage heap, clean it up, and turn it into the greatest Rocky Bolboa cartoon that has ever been made - ever. Thanks Amal for providing the inspiration for this one, and in part making the world a better place.

I found this illustration in a box in my attic. Personally, I think the carrot has the best dance moves. Anyway, please enjoy, and remember to drink lots of milk.
